We offer lessons and training for all ages - regardless of experience!
Simplicity Stables lesson program is based heavily on safety around our equine friends, as well as to produce a strong and effective equestrian. We establish a strong base first, then move on to more advanced riding levels when the rider is ready. Looking good is only a small part of riding, and we instruct our students to not only LOOK the part but to be a effective member of the horse and rider partnership. We offer several lesson packages for all levels of riders. In addition to our regular 1 hour lessons, for the brand-new, young riders that cannot last the full hour of a normal lesson, we have created a 30-minute lesson package. This package is focused on the youngest riders until they have the stamina to endure a longer lesson. In most cases, the lessons are either private or semi-private. If it is a group lesson, it is a very small group with riders on the same level. It is our goal to make sure that the lessons are safe, fun, and rewarding. All riders from pleasure to the competitive equestrian are welcome. Showing is encouraged but not required. Experienced instructors for all levels of riders are available for both English and Western disciplines. In addition to riding, the students will be taught to properly groom, tack, and take over all care of their horse. We do have several school horses and ponies available for those riders who do not own a horse. Leases are available.  PRICES Pay per lesson: $55/each 30 minute lessons and packages are available. Pay per lesson: $35/each Off-Site Lessons Travel up to 20 miles one way is included with the below rates and include a 45-60 minute lesson. Pay per lesson: $65/each Prepay for Package of 4: $260 NOTE: All packages must be used during the month in which it was purchased, unless special circumstances allow for carry-over. Cancellations will be accepted due to bad weather or illness only. These cancellations must be made up within the month. Boarders may elect to exchange a lesson for a training ride if desired.
 HORSE SHOWS Our experienced instructors will take the riders to many show circuits in Florida at this time. This year, we are looking forward to attending other series that are out of state. We go to the A circuit shows, AQHA shows and local series. Students that do not have their own horse or pony can continue to ride the lesson horses at the horse shows. Transportation will be provided in order to ensure our students are together throughout the show. A list of the standard shows we attend is listed in the barn lounge as well as on the homepage of the website. TRAINING Simplicity Stables accepts horses for training and has several different training program options suited to fully develop each horse's specific potential whether it be English or Western specialized. We feel strongly about training and showing horses that are calm, trusting and respectful to its rider. Ground training is the basis for an obedient and well trained mount. We focus our program to begin with the proper instruction for a respectful and happy horse on the ground. |
